2025-26 Schedule

Te Deum Ensemble presents “Forbidden Music of Salamone Rossi,” which explores the radical vision of a Renaissance Jewish composer who brought polyphony into Hebrew sacred music for the first time. A court musician in Italy, Rossi wrote alongside Catholic contemporaries while challenging long-held Jewish liturgical traditions. Framed by music of his contemporaries, Monteverdi and Palestrina, as well as modern Jewish choral works, this program illuminates a bold moment of tension between tradition, innovation, and faith.

SUNDAY, February 22 | 3:00 pm

TICKETS $20 general admission, available below or at the door.
